Puffin Island 4th Order Chance Brother Lighthouse

Puffin Island, NewFoundland was the home of this very nice Chance Brothers Fixed 500mm Lighthouse Lens. It has the large door and has been fully restored. Also pictured is a photo of the last Keeper at this lighthouse from 1941-1963 before decommissioning. The lens was reported to have been lowered down over the side with a rope by Canadian Coast Guard Personnel in the 1960's. Puffin Island Lighthouse is Located on the eastern end of Puffin Island approximately which is just off Greenspond on the northwest side of Bonavista Bay.
