Vintage Santon Brass & Copper Ring Lifebuoy

RARE FIND! Vintage SANTON Brass & Copper Ring Lifebuoy Man Overboard Light Buoy. Very interesting article and fine addition to any nautical decor. In it's authentic condition it really shows nice and compliments a room.

This Light Buoy appears to be made of brass and copper. All fittings, threads and it's small glass light globe are still intact with great detail. I am not sure how this signal light worked. Does not appear to have been electric however there is a tiny bulb housed within the glass globe.

It measures approximately 19" in length. The copper cone center is approx. 7" in diameter. It weighs in about 4 lbs.

"SANTON" with what appears to be an "RC 2365" just above.

The condition report should note that this item does have dents, scratches and discoloration present, all which I would suggest to be consistent with an item in service from previous years at sea. I cannot locate a date of origination.
