Wallace & Tiernan 200mm Buoy Light

This is a Wallace & Tiernan 200mm Buoy Light.

Made of Brass and Bronze. It stands approximately 19" tall and 14" in diameter. Very heavy article weighing in at approx. 40 Lbs. Date of origination and manufacturer is Circa 1940.

Beautiful heavy, ruby red in color, one piece glass Fresnel drum lens is intact. There are small chips throughout the lens and areas of discoloration in the heavy framework, which calls to anyone who appreciates authentic patina. I would suggest, as the photos display, none of this articles blemishes hinder it's substantial presence. This piece has drawn much attention within our personal Maritime Museum. It would make a great addition to anyone's collection or regal nautical decor.

Approximate Measurements:

Overall height is 19" and diameter 14"

The Fresnel measures 6-1/2" in height and 9" in diameter

The mounting area (see main photo, bottom right hand corner of article) measures 2-1/2" in width and extends 3-1/4" out from base. 1/4" holes present.
