THIS IS A WONDERFULLY AND METICULOUSLY FULLY RESTORED 1942 WWII US NAVY DIVING PUMP. BUILT IN BROOKLYN, NY IN 1942 FOR THE US NAVY DIVING TEAM. OVER 800 MAN HOURS AND A TON OF POLISHING, FABRICATING, SEALING, CASTING MISSING BRASS PARTS, MACHINING WORK, AND EXPERT EFFORT WENT INTO THE MECHANICALS ON THIS FINE DIVING ANTIQUE. THE CASE WAS STRIPPED, REPAIRED, CAREFULLY STAINED TO THE ORIGINAL COLOR, AND SEALED. IT HAS THE RARELY FOUND REVOLUTION COUNTER IN WORKING ORDER, ALL 4 HANDLES FOR THE FLYWHEELS, THE GUAGES HAVE PERFECT ORIGINAL DIALS, HAS THE BRASS GUAGE COVERS, EVEN HAS THE SHIPPING BRASS COVERS FOR THE CRANKSHAFT. THIS IS A MODEL 2A, FOR 2 DIVERS. NEARLY 100% COMPLETE WITH GREASE CUPS, BRASS LATCH AND LIFTING HANDLES, BRASS HINGES, HIGHLY POLISHED BRASS WORK INSIDE THE CASE, OPTIONAL BRASS CORNER REINFORCEMENTS, EVEN THE SCHRADER INSTRUCTION CARD INSIDE THE LID.
