Description

U. S. Light House Establishment Brass Chelsea Clock c.1908. Clocks from the U. S. Light House Establishment are rare and always in demand. Case has no dents or gouges and shows only light wear from years of use. Original 4 " stamped copper dial has been professionally re-silvered and restored to new condition. The face is lettered "U.S.L.H. E.", Chelsea Clock Company, Boston . U.S.A. " The "U.S.L.H.E." marking (without the accompanying "Estab." or "Service") is extremely rare. Eight day 7-jewel movement has been professionally cleaned and adjusted and is in fine running condition and keeps excellent time. This is an exceptional find for collectors of early Chelsea clocks or Light House memorabilia.
