Great lakes Shipwreck large main Steam Whistle
Stock Number: #311
In 1963, a small cadre of Early Scuba Great lakes Divers found several Virgin Shipwrecks in Lake Huron and Lake Michigan. The widow of the Diver who recovered this awesome ships Steam Whistle sold it to us many years ago. We do not know the identidy of the wreck this artifact came from, but it is the largest Steam whistle of it's king we have seen in any Maritime Museum. The yard stick in the pictures will give you an idea of it's size, and it is fully polished and restored for display.
