Vintage Mahogany Wood & Brass Steering Wheel

A Beautiful Vintage Solid Condition Seagoing Vessel's 30" Mahogany & Brass 8-Spoke Steering Wheel. Circa WWII It does not get much more genuine than this! It has been carefully preserved over the years for a unique and professional museum display. You can almost feel the presence of the one who must have counted on her for navigation. Just a real special collector's piece.

The condition is solid. All crafted segments intact and sturdy. Some areas of discoloration, scratches and dents but I would have to suggest nothing detracts from it's showy appearance. Great natural patina still present, making this an extremely fine vintage display article. It is an exceptional addition to any maritime collection or nautical display. Many artists have hinted to it's capture over the years...perhaps crafting of a unique table, addition to a lakeside cottage, or maritime sculpture.
