Husun Sextant for H. Hughes & Son's LTD. London Mahogany Cased Brass Sextant

"Henry Hughes & Son Ltd., 59 Fenchurch St. London," the sextant is all brass and bronze with black phenolic grip, the arc with engraved "H. Hughes & Son Ltd., London," and serial no. 9385 mounted in a dovetailed mahogany case with ivorine plaque with inscribed maker's mark, the fitted with several eyepieces, the interior cover fitted with a 1919 certificate of examination, instrument size approx. 10" x 10", case ht. 6", wd. 11", lg. 11 ". Exceptional preserved condition and complete with all accessories and eyepieces.
