EXTREMELY RARE EARLY AGA SUNVALVE IN OUTSTANDING AS-FOUND CONDITION.ORIGINAL PYREX GLASS SHEILD INTACT WITH WIRE CAGE PROTECTIVE SHIELD. Invented by Gustav Dahlen in 1905 , the Sunvalve was the worlds first "phometric" cell capable of shutting off the aceteleyne gas to the burner. This invention reduced the use of gas fuel by 50% , and saved the Lighthouse commissioner of lights a bundle! This one is the first we have found of its type in 35 years.
