1890's USLSS MARKED Binoculars with leather case

Original, authentic, French made USLSS Binoculars with original case. The USLSS stations were all sent Government issued and engraved Binoculars for the Station lookout and for the Surfmen to carry while on beach patrol. This pair has been stored inside the original case which has preserved them quite well. The glass and optics are still clear and clean, with wear on the barrels and eyepieces. The focus wheel moves freely and they still work just as they did in the days of the Life Saving service where they obviously received alot of use. The leather case is quite worn, and frayed around the lid area.
