BARBIER TURENNE PARIS MADE CA 1901 LIGHTHOUSE FRESNEL LENS WITH CLOCKWORK

Stock Number: #504

Description

Just finished a full restoration of a beautiful 1883 Barbier and Turenne lighthouse lens. This lens features a unique spring-driven clockwork that drives two occulting panels, producing two flashes every 30 seconds with 15-second intervals. The clockwork is made entirely of brass and steel, housing a large spring motor encased in a brass case. The original lamp is a British Duplex running on lamp oil. We believe this lens may have originated from the Scatari Lighthouse in Nova Scotia. Call Steve at 810-599-5147 for pricing and shipping details..
